Many of the condominiums in Pasadena are located near the Gold Line stations or near freeway on-ramps.  Architecturally, they vary from contemporary geometric buildings to ones influenced by European cities to others suggestive of Craftsman homes.  The selection, shown below, are all in the Old Town and Madison Heights neighborhoods.

Hotel Livingston condos Pasadena The sign may read Hotel Livingston, but this condo conversion is new and inexpensive for Pasadena.  It is located on Los Robles, just a half a block from the Paseo Colorado shopping mall.  Since this photo was taken a brand new and ultra-modern condo development has been built next door.

Lake @ Walnut condos In contrast to the historic sensibility of the Hotel Livingston condos is the Lake @ Walnut building.  It is very contemporary in design and very close to the Lake Avenue onramp to the 210 Freeway.

Windemere condos in Pasadena On Magnolia Avenue in Madison Heights, the Windemere condos draw their inspiration for details from the many craftsman homes in Pasadena.

Murano village condos in Pasadena The Murano Village condos on Marengo Avenue clearly look back to early 20th Century  Spanish Revival architecture for inspiration.  The building is just a couple of blocks from the northern on-ramp of the 110 freeway.
